Editorial Policy
The rules behind our source checks, fact labels and corrections. When a claim cannot meet these rules, we leave it out.

Independence
PokeArena2DGuide is an independent fan guide. We are not the developer and do not host game files. We do not accept payment to change a release status, ranking or verdict.
Source standard
A primary source is the developer's own page, store listing or public post. For separate games, it is the original creator's release page. A third-party article, aggregator or video is a lead, not a primary source. We link to the original whenever possible and record the date we checked it.
Fact classifications
Every major fact is placed in one of four categories:
- Confirmed — directly stated or shown by the original source.
- Planned — a stated target, not a guarantee or fixed date.
- Not announced — no original source has supplied the value.
- Third-party claim — the statement comes from a third party and has not been independently established.
A planned beta window is not rewritten as a confirmed release date. A third-party claim is not upgraded to confirmed merely because several sites repeat it.
Updates and change logs
A check date records when we last looked at a source. It is not a claim that the source changed. We update a change log only when a material fact changes, and we do not use the build time or a cosmetic edit to fake freshness.
Corrections
Send corrections to contact@pokearena2dguide.com with the page URL, the disputed sentence and a direct source. We will correct a factual error when the source supports it. If the record is unclear, we will say so rather than guess.
Files and copyright
We do not mirror installers, APKs, ROMs, modified builds or game code. The homepage uses one credited Big Kid Nation developer preview image as a trailer cover; rights remain with the developer. The free-game pages use credited idle sprites from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon SpriteCollab (CC BY-NC 4.0), via Big Kid Nation. External links open the creator's own release page. If you believe a page uses your material incorrectly, contact us with the URL and ownership details.
Media credits
The homepage trailer cover is a screenshot taken by PokeArena2DGuide from Big Kid Nation's publicly released developer preview. It is shown with attribution for identification and commentary; rights in the underlying game imagery remain with Big Kid Nation and the other rights holders, and this site does not claim ownership or a license.
The idle sprites on the free-game pages come from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon SpriteCollab ↗ and are used under CC BY-NC 4.0, via Big Kid Nation. The license is non-commercial. Before adding advertising, sponsorship or paid content, those sprites must be replaced or separately licensed.
The trailer is embedded from Big Kid Nation's official YouTube channel after a click, not hosted here. If you believe a credit is incomplete or material is used incorrectly, contact contact@pokearena2dguide.com with the URL and ownership details.
